This SCC-MN-2 was originally tooled for an automotive transmission component with an external M16 thread. It is fixtured with a pneumatic gripper that holds the part.

It was later retooled to verify a second part with an M10 internal thread. Using a combination gage both GO and NO GO in a single pass.

The SCD Thread Machine is a turnkey, benchtop machine. The operator simply sets the part into a nest, pushes it forward and the thread check proceeds automatically.
The STH Thread Unit is an automated gaging system intended for integration into a robotic cell. Commonly mounted beside machine tending or material handling robot, it will automatically gage threads without the need for additional fixturing.
The RTU Thread Unit is an automated gaging system mounted on a robot. Best used for parts with multiple thread sizes, it includes automatic tool changing.
