Complete hand-guided system for thread verification or thread remediation
A New Vista SVV setup shown to the right. Part fixturing is simple; or, in many cases, not required at all.
A new Vista SVX setup. All the benefits of the SVV plus the benefit of a removable Thread Unit to check off axis threads.
This unit was designed for sample inspection of M6, M8, and M10 internal threads in crankcases both GO and NO GO. The removable HTU unit allows easy access to off axis threads.
This station counts each individual thread verification and passes or fails the part. The serial number of the part along with the verification data is saved to a database.

This SVX pantograph station includes an HTU handheld thread unit that can be removed from the pantograph to verify threads that are hard to access with the pantograph.

Removable Handheld Thread Unit
Integrated Depth Probe
Tool Dock
This is a demonstration of an SV pantograph unit verifying 8-32 and 10-32 internal threads in electrical fittings.

Limited Or No Fixturing
This SV pantograph reconditions and verifies M4 studs on injector solenoids in a single pass. The palletized fixture holds 28 parts at once.
This same SVV, with its convertible overhead drive train, can handle threads up to M30 (1-1/4”) size.

Thread Reconditioning
Palletized Fixture
Pantograph
This SV pantograph unit verifies five threads in a fuel injection rail. This unit includes the full count option where the control keeps track of the pass/fail status of each thread. Once all threads are checked, the pass/fail status of the whole part is displayed.

Pantograph
This set of three SVV pantograph units is tooled to verify a wide range of parts. The quick-change tooling can be swapped in instants.
New Vista’s Type J Toolholding System will accommodate any size or depth of thread and is compatible with our tool docking station making tooling changes a breeze
The Control and Monitoring Unit shown here is part of the System. Once the operator engages the threaded feature, the control takes over; it runs the tool to depth and it automatically reverses it out. The machine makes the decision whether the thread has been successfully verified or chased; the operator cannot override it.
Will work with both internal and external threads.
Verifies, re-forms or remediates threads at rates up to 1,600 holes (or male threads) per hour. That’s 2-1/4 seconds from one threaded feature to the next.
Hole-to-hole movements are manual. The counterbalanced pantograph supplied diminishes operator fatigue, and eliminates the possibility of cross threading.
The System, not the operator, determines whether the thread has been successfully verified or chased.
Utilizes the same patented New Vista mechanisms that are in use in New Vista-supplied installations all over the world.
Will run a variety of parts, both large and small. Can accommodate male or female threads of varying sizes. When equipped with one of the New Vista Quick-Change Toolholders, changing from one thread to another takes only a few seconds. Will gage or chase various thread depths without tuning in.
Can take advantage of tool docking for even more convenience.
Will not jam or stick in undersize or short threads. Will not subject the operator, the part or the tooling to high force or torque levels…even with a thread blockage.
Standard models available that will run threads from M3 through M30 (#4 thru 1-1/4”).
“Full Count Option” guarantees that no holes in a pattern are missed.
Supplied tooled and proven out for your application.
