Thread Inspection & Thread Detection of External Threads

External thread checking employs three types of rings:
GO
NO GO
Combination GO-NO GO

Combination GO-NO GO rings are for doing GO and NO GO checking in one spindle. The first portion of the ring is GO, the second portion is NO GO. A good thread will allow the GO portion of the ring to pass, but will not allow the NO GO part to pass.

These rings have the same tolerance as standard thread gages. Standard with the ring is a short form certification that guarantees the probe is within the tolerance of a known standard. For nominal extra cost, ask for the long form certification that includes measured values.

New Vista can modify a customer’s existing ring gage, or can supply new. If New Vista supplies, we will include a detail print with the ring, so the customer can supply the ring himself in the future if desired.
