TVM-FLX Thread Verification Module

These high throughput Modules are made up of standard thread verification spindles driven by a single motor. Following are two examples.

Accommodate Part Families

  • Each spindle has two universal joints built in, allowing for simplified changeover between similar parts.
  • Quickly and automatically checks threaded holes (or external threads) by powering a cluster of probes (thread gages) into and out of the part. GO gaging, NO GO gaging, and combination gaging are all possible.
  • Change tooling plate to run a different part. Universal joint drives allow for varying hole locations.


This Two-Spindle Thread Verification Module inspects two M10 X 16mm deep threads.  Red paint marks defective threads – note how spindles operate independent of each other on parts where only one hole is defective.

Rotary Table

  • Automatically inspects threaded features in parts.
  • Indexing wheel transfers part from load-in to the inspection position to the unload position
  • Good parts and rejects are chuted away separately.
  • Standard: Hand loaded, automatic unload; Optional: Vertical in-feed magazine gives longer independent run times for stackable parts.
  • Outputs up to 2,000 parts per hour.
