Servodriven Unit quickly and automatically
chases threaded holes or external features; by powering a thread-chasing
tool into (or onto) and out of (or off of) the part.
Will chase blind features to full depth.
Will remove weld spatter, lodged chips, burrs, cured paint,
etc.
Sensitive drive allows the chasing tool to stop in case
of missing or heavily damaged threads, preventing the possibility
of cutting a new thread. This registers a fault, creating a “reject” signal.
In automated applications, rejects can be separated out without
stopping the process.
Will not jam or stick in wrong-sized or blocked threads.
The Unit’s reverse torque is higher than the entering torque.

Unit includes matching servodrive (fig. 1), with motion programming.
For threads that can be off-axis or off-angle, see our Off-axis
adapters
Capacities
• Cycle times shown are for threads where

is required.
