Thread Chasing Tools
Tool life is variable, dependant on part material and the presence of lubricant, and the amount of thread obstructions. Under ideal circumstances, tool life of 1 million cycles is possible, but some fraction of that is more likely. A rule of thumb estimate is 75,000 cycles. New Vista will include a detail print with the tool, so the customer
can supply the tool himself in the future if desired. |
Thread Chasing Tools are special TiN-coated clean-out tools that
are designed for following and clearing existing threads.
