TVM-MS Thread Verification Module

These high throughput Modules are made up of standard TVUs mounted in required configurations. Following are two examples.

Dual Inspection

• Checks minor diameter
  
• “GO” gage checks threaded holes utilizing TVU-STH
  
• Will check to ensure that thread is within off-axis angle tolerance
• Capable of running thread sizes M6 through M16
  
• Discharge confirmation of every failed part
  
• Output: 150 parts/min.
  

Conveyor

• Remove pucks (with Filters in them) from an Infeed Conveyor.
  
• Position the pucks under the TVU spindles.
  
• Clamp the Filters axially.
  
• Check the thread for missing or undersize threads; and for obstructed, or short threads (“GO” check).
  
• Move pucks to the Discharge Conveyor.
  
• Reject (separate out) all parts that have failed the thread inspection.
  
• Output: 120 parts/min.
